You're going to love a round on The Club at Longleaf. The club is built on land that was formerly Starland Farms, one of the country's top training stables for thoroughbreds. Many of the original features such as white fences, hedgerows and even part of the training track have been retained as a tribute to the site's history. The Dan Maples design has two significantly different nines. The front is a wide-open Scottish links style layout. The back is more heavily wooded with dramatic elevation changes. As Golf Digest proclaims, Longleaf is, "The most playable course in the Pinehurst area."
